robust roses

The summer season is certainly over. But throughout our neighborhood the roses carry on despite frosty mornings and blustery winds, blooming their hearts out in mid November...

  1. the last roses of bittersweet!

  2. You're right, it is a little bittersweet! These are so beautiful! They would have been frosted by now up here :(

  3. lovely last blooms. no such luck here, on to petite purple winter cabbage arrangements. just catching up on your posts -- stunning museum! and how exciting to be a part of the shop collection. and the wedding clutches are simply sweet. brilliant idea.

  4. Reminds me of this song by The Gourds:

We will watch the river flow past pretty flowers growing there

And the gravity and spin will pass by freely in the wind

To find us quiet in the sunset
    Two old rugged roses

    Planted firmly by the riverbed

I always love to hear from you! I read every word and cherish every thought, even if I am not always able to reply back. Thank you for visiting.
